On the north bank of the River Clyde, Glasgow's city center begins in George Square. The square and its surrounding tourist attractions and hotels are easily accessed by trains coming into nearby Queen Street Station. The other main train station in Glasgow's central neighborhood is located due south of George Square off of Argyle Street. The Buchanan bus station is located just a few minutes walk north of Queen Street Station.
Other Centre attractions include Glasgow's cathedral, the Necropolis and the St. Mungo Museum of Religious Life and Art.
