Cheap hotels in Beyoglu, Istanbul
Beyoglu is situated just north of Istanbul's city center and is separated from Old Town by the Golden Horn. Karakoy is its ferry terminus. Considered the newest part of Istanbul, the neighborhood has a distinct European feel. At the top of pedestrian Istiklal Caddesi is Taksim Square, the hub of the neighborhood. Here, tourists can catch the tram.
The Pera Palas Oteli is on Tepebasi Caddesi and the flower and fish markets are near the Galatasary Lisesi and its tram station of the same name.
