Old City

Valencia's city center contains many important tourist attractions. The main train station, Estacion del Norte, is located just south of this area next to the Plaza de Toros (bullfighting ring). Plaza del Ayuntamiento is a few blocks north of the station while the Quart and Serranos Tower marks the northern border of the Old City. The Cathedral is just north of Plaza de la Reina.

The city's central market was constructed in 1928 and is located on the Plaza del Mercado. The Instituto Valencia de Arte Moderno (IVAM) is on the northwest side.
