Central Oslo is small enough that the entire area can be traversed on foot. King Harald V lives in Det Kongelige Slott (Palace), but 15 rooms are open for tourists to visit. The palace is surrounded by a public park. Akershus Slott has both dungeons and ballrooms on view.
