Original Review:

Located on the bustling and central rue Saint-Jacques, the two-star Hotel Diana provides a solid deal. The great location near Boulevard St-Germain combined with renovated rooms that have air-conditioning make for an excellent value.

The Hotel Diana’s 22 non-smoking rooms, situated on its five floors (with elevator), are quite nice. They boast new carpets, crisp white curtains and orange drapes. Double windows should keep out much of the noise of passing traffic on the busy rue Saint Jacques, although light sleepers might want to ask for a room facing the back courtyard (or on a higher floor).

All rooms are equipped with a flat-screen TV, telephone, safe and air conditioning (during the summer only). Wi-Fi is offered for free throughout the hotel.

All double rooms have a renovated private bath, equipped with a bathtub and hair dryer. Bathrooms in the Hotel Diana’s two single rooms are equipped with a shower. With many double rates averaging around €225 per night, the Diana is a reliable option, and its location (just south of the Boulevard Saint-Germain on rue Saint-Jacques) is a major selling point.
