Nestled into a tranquil and leafy part of the Marais, Paris' impressive Musée Picasso houses the largest collection of Picasso works in the world.
The museum is located in the Hôtel Salé, a sumptuous 17th-century mansion. Inside, trace Picasso’s life through his works, including painting, sculpture, drawings and engravings. Rooms are devoted to each of his major periods and date from 1905 through his death in 1973. It reopened in 2014 after an impressive renovation.
The museum will be open daily (closed Monday). Admission is free the first Sunday of the month. Read more on the museum's Web site.
