Located in Dorsoduro and within easy walking distance of Ca’ Foscari University and the Peggy Guggenheim Museum, the Ca’ Rezzonico is a Baroque-style palazzo marked by a white marble facade. It sits prominently along the left bank of the Grand Canal and is today a museum dedicated to 18th-century Venice.
Highlights include a fresco ceiling and a collection of 18th-century paintings. In addition, the museum showcases sculpture, furniture, porcelains and entire rooms lifted from other Venetian palazzi.
