Cheap hotels near Guild Houses in Zurich, Switzerland

Zurich’s guild houses represent a rich and thriving commercial history. They're located in the heart of Zurich, right across from the Fraumünster.

Take a stroll on the Limmatquai, along the Limmat River, and you can wander past the old houses. Their intricate (and photogenic!) facades are definitely worth a stop.

All types of guilds existed back in the day here, but today you can still see the buildings that served as the home base (for meetings and social events) for blacksmiths, porcelain makers, bakers and more. Although you can find 13 guild houses in total in Zurich, this particular lineup of houses are the city’s most visited.
