I have stayed at Pensione Guerrato in March. I found it really noisy at night with thumpa thumpa music going strong from a nearby bar and people gathering at the market tables and carrying on. In the early morning it was noisy as the market got going!!
I used earplugs and pillows to no avail.
I believe serenity in the ‘serenissima’ should be a point of evaluation for your hotel recommendations.
