Cheap hotels near Theater District in New York, United States
If you’re planning to see a Broadway show during your stay in New York, you’ll most likely be heading into the Theater District. Centered around Times Square in Midtown Manhattan, the district contains Broadway theaters located, roughly, between 40th and 54th Streets, and between Sixth and Eighth Avenue.
The area includes some well-known showplaces, including the Booth and the Schoenfeld on West 45th Street, the Nederlander on 41st and the Lyceum on 45th, the oldest theater in New York.
Several Off-Broadway and Off-Off-Broadway theaters are located along “Theater Row,” a strip of 42nd Street that runs from Eighth to Ninth Avenue. (Many other Off-Broadway theaters are located elsewhere in town, including in Greenwich Village and the East VIllage.)
