Cheap hotels near Flatiron Building in New York, United States
With its iconic triangular peak at one end, the Flatiron Building is one of New York’s most famous (and most photographed) buildings. It stands on a plot of land sliced by the busy intersection of Broadway, Fifth Avenue and East 23rd Streets.
The Flatiron building was designed to look like a vertical Renaissance palazzo with Beaux Arts detailing. It was completed in 1902. Today, it serves as both a functioning office building and a popular backdrop for travelers’ snapshots.
Madison Square Park is located directly across the street from “the Flatiron.” The neighborhood is a mix of residential and office buildings, and is packed with shops and restaurants.
