Lincoln Center is a large performing arts complex located on Manhattan’s west side, between 62nd and 65th Streets at Broadway.
Constructed in the 1950s and 1960s, Lincoln Center plays an incredibly important and active role in New York City’s performing arts scene. The complex today includes Avery Fisher Hall (home to the New York Philharmonic), the Metropolitan Opera House, the David H. Koch Theater (home of the New York City Ballet), the Vivian Beaumont Theater (a Broadway Theater) and the Julliard School.
