Madison Square Garden is the city’s largest arena, hosting sporting events and large-scale concerts and spectacles in its current location, at 7th Avenue between 31st and 33rd Streets, since 1968. It’s situated atop Pennsylvania Station, the city’s busiest train station.
The “Garden,” sometimes referred to as “The World’s Most Famous Arena,” has hosted talents as diverse as Lady Gaga and Led Zeppelin, as well as “Sesame Street Live,” the “Ringling Brothers Circus” and a slew of athletic teams, including the New York Knicks.
