We just received our semi-annual Tourisme Bretagne postdrop, and mon Dieu.

It would appear that there are a surpising number of very inexpensive house rentals in Brittany. Agence Bretagne Immobilier in Brest has a four-person rental house in Crozon on offer beginning at €150 a week in low season. Cabinet Holas in Carnac rents a house (also in Carnac) that begins at just €140 for a week in the off-season.

The majority of the houses on offer begin in the €200-€400 range for a week’s rental. With the plethora of low-cost carriers serving airports in Brittany—particularly, it must be noted, from and to the UK—the region would appear to be an easy place to have a nice, simple, inexpensive holiday devoted to cuisine and beach.
