The three-star Andante is a comfortable hotel located a five-minute walk from Wenceslas Square. Step inside the bright and airy lobby and climb the stairs, and you'll find 32 attractive and simple rooms.

The hotel
The Andante's large guestrooms are painted in muted colors and furnished with a small wooden table, chairs, and a desk. Rooms have a TV, and Rothko-style prints hang on the walls. Two rooms boast nice balconies (ask ahead), and the quad room has a separate "living room" area. The rather spacious bathrooms are done up in basic tiling.
Breakfast (which is included) is served in a rather classy breakfast room downstairs.
Note: Though it boasts a central location, the Andante's street is rough around the edges: We wouldn't recommend dallying outside. However, the building is monitored by a surveillance camera, so safety shouldn't be a big concern.

About the Andante Hotel neighborhood
Nove Mesto means "new town" in Czech. Prague's business district surrounds Stare Mesto on its eastern and southern borders. The area has plenty of sightseeing draws. Home to the famed Wenceslas Square as well as the National Museum, the neighborhood is less than 20 minutes from Old Town Square by subway or tram.
