Little Town Budget Hotel

Opened in June 2009, the two-star Little Town Budget Hotel is a well-equipped and super-affordable option in a fabulous location. St. Nicholas Cathedral sits right outside, and rooms facing the front of the building have a view of Prague Castle.

The hotel

Run by a friendly and laid-back group, Little Town Budget Hotel offers a mix of 14 private and dorm-style rooms. Choose from dorms, privates or apartments. All dorms and apartments are equipped with a kitchen. Otherwise, rooms are bare-bones: Basic bed frames and wardrobes (and a table and chairs in the apartments) just about does it. Blue and yellow are the colors of choice for the bedspreads and curtains.

Dorms offer between three and 10 beds, and each dorm has its own bathroom. Apartments are comprised of two large rooms, a spacious kitchen and a private bathroom. Private twins and doubles share bathrooms.

Bathrooms are a decent size and the apartments have tubs. One big bonus is that the bathrooms have a full sink and counter, just like at home.

The spacious common room boasts yet another guest kitchen, plus a selection of board games to play. The building is shared with private apartments, offices and a restaurant with a great summer garden.
