Cheap hotels in Centre Ville, Aix en Provence
Centre Ville is where the action is. La Rotonde, an iconic roundabout replete with fountain, is considered the center of town and from it springs the wide Cours Mirabeau, the main shopping and restaurant row of Aix.
This is the place to see and be seen while sipping a cafe at one of a dozen chic eateries. La Rotande is also the site of the tourist office and from where the popular "Circuit de Cezanne" walking tour begins. Every morning a farmer's market comes to life at nearby Place Richelme.
The town's local thermal spa, Thermes Sextius, is located a couple blocks west of the market at Avenue Thermes.
