On the quiet Santa Brigada, the Hostal Dominguez is a respite from the buzz of the Chueca's trendy bars and clubs. All furnishings, fixtures, doors, floors, beds seem new. Heck, the walls practically smell of fresh paint.
The 30 rooms are clean, with homey accents including wooden desks and dainty quilts. Wi-Fi is available in every room.
The main draw of this basic hostal is the brilliant location. Cafes, bars, and many of Madrid's best museums are nearby.
