Centre Ville & Around the Station

The area to the south of the train station and in the center of Nice is full of budget hotels. These vary greatly in terms of character and amenities but generally provide basic rooms at very reasonable prices. The beach is about a 20-minute walk from the train station.

If you do book a hotel near the station, keep in mind that the Nice train station, like many other train stations, has a sleazy edge.

Near Promenade des Anglais

Following the beachfront, the picture-perfect Boulevard des Anglais is perfect for afternoon strolls and "special moment" splurges. Most of the hotels in this neighborhood are located north of the Boulevard, in the direction of the train station though all within easy walking distance of the beach.
