Located in the heart of Trastevere, the two-star Hotel Cisterna is as central as you can get. It's a hop, a skip and a sashay from Piazza Santa Maria and nightlife galore.
The 20 guest rooms at the Hotel Cisterna are clean and cozy, with basic artwork and myriad color schemes. Amenities include air conditioning, a minibar, safe, telephone, radio and TV.
The private bathrooms are equipped with a hair dryer and toiletries.
The Hotel Cisterna’s bright and welcoming entryway leads into a lounge fit for relaxation (La-Z-Boy included) and an interior garden. Exposed brick, cotto floors and wood-beamed ceilings exude Trasteverian charm.
Breakfast (included in the room rate) is served in a homey breakfast room. The staff is friendly and eager, although not everyone speaks English. Wi-Fi is free throughout.

About the Trastevere Hotel Cisterna neighborhood
Perched on the western bank of the River Tiber just where it straddles Isola Tiberina, Trastevere is known for its artsy demeanor and picturesque, winding streets. This historically working-class neighborhood is terribly cute, and hip to boot. Trastevere is now home to numerous trendy and touristy bars, cafes, shops, restaurants, and a few tourist traps. Despite all this, we can't help it. We love Trastevere just the same.
