Located just outside the Piazza della Signoria and steps from the Uffizi, Olga's House, is home to five fresh and clean rooms that cater mostly to a youthful clientele.
Rooms have IKEA-style furniture, sleek bedding and ample space for backpacks and luggage. All come outfitted with a satellite TV with DVD player, air conditioning and safes. Windows are soundproof with double-glazed panels. Bathrooms are freshly tiled with quirky floral shower curtains. Note: This place charges €1 for a clean towel, and €5 to have your room cleaned. Longer stays might want to look elsewhere.
One caveat: This B&B is located on the fourth floor of a building without a lift. To get up to Olga, you really do have to climb.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Breakfast is sometimes included in the room rate (check when booking)

About the Olga's House neighborhood
You can't miss Brunelleschi's magnificent dome atop the rosy marble Cathedral. It's the obvious central meeting point in Florence and the tourist hub of the city. Here, you're in the vicinity of practically everything: the Uffizi Museums, Palazzo della Signoria, the San Lorenzo Market and the Accademia. The big guns in Italian fashion are located along Via Tornabuoni and there are plenty of cafes and dining options.
