The three-star RT Regent, one of four RT hotels in the city (three of which are located in central Krakow), is a 39-room property situated on a quaint, crowded Kazimierz street.
The Regent's rooms are simple and cozy, outfitted in neutral, natural tones. Duvets are appealingly plump. Furniture, in caramel wood, is modeled on early 20th-century design. We were pleasantly surprised by the art nouveau-inspired furniture. Rooms are equipped with telephone and satellite television. Bathrooms sport raspberry tiles and gleaming, renovated details.
The Regent has low rates and offers the comfort and assurance of a small chain hotel. This tourist standard also means that there's a restaurant on the premises. Expect to rub elbows with large tour groups in the breakfast room.
Breakfast is included. Internet is available for an additional fee.

About the RT Regent neighborhood
Krakow's historically Jewish neighborhood, Kazimierz is a quaint warren of tiny alleys and streets southeast of Stare Miasto. Several synagogues along with some churches and the Old Town Hall, form the core of the area's tourist draws. Stradom sits more or less in between Kazimierz and Stare Miasto. It's more modern and contemporary. Both 'hoods benefit from cafes, restaurants and shops.
