Arlanda, Stockholm's largest airport, sits 42km (26 miles) to the north of Stockholm city center. Arlanda is Sweden's biggest airport, serving a mind-numbing tally of airlines and routes. Arlanda is the airport you'll most likely utilize in flights to or from Stockholm. The fastest and most convenient way to get between central Stockholm and Arlanda is to take the Arlanda Express train. The Arlanda Express journey lasts 20 minutes and costs SEK 200. A roundtrip ticket costs SEK 380, though discounts for roundtrip tickets can be had for journeys transpiring within two-hour (SEK 220) and six-hour (SEK 280) periods. Flygbussarna also operates a bus shuttle between Arlanda and T-Centralen. The journey lasts 40 minutes and costs SEK 99 for a one-way ticket and SEK 179 for a round-trip ticket.
Bromma Airport

Bromma mostly handles domestic air traffic. In fact, unless you're flying between Stockholm and the island of Gotland, it is unlikely that you will utilize Bromma. This is a shame, because Bromma is quite close to Stockholm, just 8km (5 miles) to the west of the central city. There is a direct Flygbussarna bus from T-Centralen to Bromma Airport, which takes 15 minutes. It costs SEK 69 for a single journey and SEK 130 for a roundtrip journey.
Skavsta Airport

Quite a hike from central Stockholm, Skavsta lies 100km (63 miles) to the south of Stockholm. Skavsta is a small airport. In addition to Ryanair, it services a handful of additional charter and budget airlines. The Flygbussarna bus line coordinates its journeys with Ryanair departures. It travels to and from T-Centralen. A one-way journey between Skavsta and T-Centralen costs SEK 150. A roundtrip journey costs SEK 249.
Västerås Airport

Västerås is another far-flung airport, situated 110km (69 miles) to the northwest of central Stockholm. To travel between Västerås and Stockholm by train, you must connect with a local bus (#941) to the train station and catch a train from there into central Stockholm. An easier method involves relying on the Flygbussarna bus line, which connects between Västerås and the T-Centralen station. Bus journeys are coordinated with Ryanair flights. A one-way journey between Västerås and T-Centralen costs SEK 150 and a roundtrip journey costs SEK 249.
From T-Centralen (main train station)
T-Centralen is conveniently located close to the center of Stockholm and also functions as the main hub for Stockholm's three metro lines. Arriving at T-Centralen pretty much puts you at the center of Stockholm, one metro stop from Gamla Stan and two metro stops from Södermalm.
