Cheap hotels in Les Eaux Vives, Geneva

Neighborhood Description

On the south side of town, Eaux-Vives, considered Geneva's city center, is home to Jet d'Eau, Geneva's iconic water fountain. Shooting a high plume into the air, weather permitting, the fountain is easy to see from the lakefront. The area offers easy access to the cobbled Rue de la Cite where visitors can find Rousseau's birthplace. Up a steep hill tourists can visit Cathedrale St Pierre. The centuries-old church houses John Calvin's old pulpit.

Promenade Charles Martin 17 (Les Eaux Vives)

EuroCheapo Review
Though it's run by a Catholic foundation, the Le Cénacle Hotel is not just another nunnery. It's a sweet retreat in a leafy suburb on the edge of the well-to-do Eaux-Vives neighborhood.

Résidence Saint-JamesOther

Rue Versonnex, 3 (Les Eaux Vives)

EuroCheapo Review: Offering basic but affordable studios of various sizes, the conveniently located Residence St. James could use a good Swiss-style scrub-down, but might fit the bill for unfussy travelers in search of low rates.
