Bakers Hotel, close to Victoria Station, is a small barebones hotel with great nightly rates. It’s first and foremost a good place for budget travelers.
Rooms are quite nondescript, with no design motif to speak of, and rather cramped, although not intolerably so. Expect small wall-mounted televisions, mostly shared showers and toilets, sinks, electric tea kettles, and hair dryers in rooms. One room offers private bath. Also of note is the cheap Wi-Fi charge (just £1 per day).
The Bakers clientele hails mostly from the United States and Europe and spans all ages. For those seeking a cheap bed in a convenient location, Bakers Hotel is a good bet.

About the Bakers Hotel neighborhood
Though not an aesthetically pleasing neighborhood, the area near Victoria Station, which comprises parts of Westminster and Pimlico, is undeniably convenient. Aside from its proximity to Victoria, Buckingham Palace and the lovely grounds of St. James's Park are just up the street and Westminster Abbey is but a short Tube ride away. Be warned: there are countless hotels lining Belgrave Road and its peripheries lacking in the charm department. These vary wildly in size, quality, and nightly rate. This is one neighborhood where it more than pays to do your homework. Those staying in London for more than a few days might want to look elsewhere, for charm if nothing else.
