Cheap hotels near Via Condotti in Rome, Italy
Located near the beloved Spanish Steps, the Via dei Condotti is famous for being one of the busiest shopping thoroughfares in Rome. Akin to Paris’ Champs-Elysees or London’s Bond Street, the street is packed with high-end boutiques, monuments and well-known restaurants.
Here are a few stopping-off points worth checking out: At #84 you’ll find Caffé Greco, a cafe where Goethe, Byron, Keats and Stendhal hung out, talked shop and wrote. At #11, you’ll find the former residence of Guglielmo Marconi, inventor of the radio. Designer Valentino’s six-story palazzo is also located nearby.
