Swank and crisp, Clarion Collection's Hotel Karlaplan defeats the cookie-cutter spirit of the corporate hotel chain model with a resolutely modern Scandinavian flourish. Open since April 2005, it has the shiny, freshly scrubbed feel of a well-run business class hotel.
Hotel Karlaplan's 126 rooms sport hardwood floors, mirrored wardrobes, leather chairs and white walls. The effect is extremely appealing.
Situated on a very quiet side street, Hotel Karlaplan is a few minutes walk from the Karlaplan square on one side and Humlegården park on the other. The location is perfect for business clientele and is just a quick metro journey from central Stockholm's buzz.

Like Vasastaden, Östermalm revolves in part around its magnificent parks. The lovely Karlavägen boulevard and cute Karlaplan circle are the heart of Östermalm. Karlavägen is spotted with more shops and buttressed on both sides by sleepy residential neighborhoods and stately apartment blocks.
