The Bruges Bed & Breakfast, located along Carmersstraat about five minutes east of Markt Square, is a simple and inviting place to stay.
Located in a 16th-century home, the B&B provides two rooms on the top floor that share a toilet and shower, and one room on the second floor equipped with its own facilities. Rooms are furnished with a mix of functional and traditional pieces, and painted in cheery colors. The two yellow rooms on the top floor feature wood-beamed ceilings, and are equipped with sinks, mini-fridge, TV, and DVD player. The two rooms share a microwave. The third, larger room is painted peach and, along with the other amenities, has its own microwave.
The friendly and professor-ly Robert Van Nevel has been running the B&B with his wife Lievetje since 1991. Robert restores artwork at the Municipal Museum in St. John’s Hospital and is a wealth of information regarding all things Bruges.

About the Bruges Bed & Breakfast neighborhood
St. Anne's Church sits in the middle of a cobblestoned residential neighborhood, a few blocks northeast of Burg Square and west of the "Kantcentrum," Bruges' popular Lace Centre and museum. The streets are lined with charming row houses, and Sint-Annarei, the lane following the canal, is ideal for a stroll to the 18th-century Sint-Janshuysmolen windmill.
