How to get in from the airport

Kastrup Airport is one of the most beautifully designed airports in the world. It regularly wins World's Best Airport awards. It is located about 10km (6 miles) southeast of the city.

The Cheapo way into Central Station is by train. The airport train station is under Terminal 3 and the ride takes 12 minutes. The fare is DKK30 (€4) per person.

Trains leave every 10 minutes from platform 2, starting at 4:46 a.m. every day. The last train pulls out of the station at 12:46 a.m. For more information see www.dsb.dk.

Available taxis are numerous at Terminals 1 and 3. Fares into the center of the city usually run around DKK200. Tipping drivers is neither necessary nor customary.

How to get in from the main train station

Central Station, the main train station, is located in the Copenhagen's city center right across H.C. Andersens Boulevard from Tivoli Gardens in Vesterbro. The most distant parts of central Copenhagen are located within a mile and a half (about 3km) of the station.
