The two-star Nice Garden Hotel, located just 200 meters from the beach, offers nine quaint rooms and a bed and breakfast feel. It makes up for its ho-hum fa&ccedille;ade with comfortable rooms and a charming orange garden (onto which some rooms open). Location, in the city's bustling commercial district, is prime as well.

Rooms are decorated "à la Provencale," with warm colors, big plush pillows and attractive linens. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, phone, television and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms sport colored tiles and come equipped with toiletries and a hair dryer. Make sure to request a room that opens up to the peaceful orange tree garden.

In the reception area, paper cranes hang from the ceiling and a mix of both French impressionist and Japanese artwork lightens the walls.

Breakfast is available for an additional fee.
