The Hôtel Saint-Honoré, half of which has been renovated, is a great deal, especially considering that the Louvre, Pont Neuf, and Forum des Halles are just a couple blocks away. But while the hotel has a warm exterior and an eager-to-accommodate staff, the interior lacks color and originality.
Rooms have that big-chain feel, with plain, off-white wallpaper, boring bedsheets and uninteresting artwork (when there's artwork at all). But then who needs stunning paintings with the Louvre around the corner? Bathrooms are nicely renovated, and rooms facing the street get great natural light. And considering the prices, the Honoré has a nice selection of amenities.
